CRBN OFF: From Idea to Reality.

CRBN OFF began as a thesis project for a doctoral degree and has been in development since 2014. Sure, it may have taken a decade to materialize, but let’s not forget that the UNFCCC’s famous 1997 Kyoto Protocol took eight years to come into force—and they had 160 countries involved! At CRBN OFF, we may be a smaller group, but we’re passionate, determined, and focused on making a big impact, all with one clear goal: NET ZERO by 2050.

Achieving this ambitious goal is possible if we all commit to being part of the solution. The struggle is real, and failing to act will affect every aspect of our lives. CRBN OFF is here to make being part of that solution easy, accessible, and, most importantly, impactful. We believe that by simplifying the steps toward carbon neutrality, we can help more people contribute to real change in a way that’s visible and meaningful.

And don’t worry, we have plenty up our sleeves! New and exciting features are coming soon—think Kyoto 1997 but with a fresh twist. Jokes aside, we aim to challenge the status quo, not just by being different but by making a difference that truly matters.

Our first podcast episode on climate change is launching at the end of this week! These short, engaging podcasts—aiming for no more than 10 minutes—will cover everything from offsets and climate challenges to how everyone can be part of the solution. We’ll feature interviews with influential industry and academic leaders, and we hope to create something enjoyable for both professionals and everyday listeners alike.

So, on your next commute, tune into the CRBN OFF Podcast—we promise to make climate action your new favorite topic.

And remember: This is just the beginning. Together, we can achieve Net Zero!
